Still smiling Kouya looked around, only to blush when she notice the stares she was getting from all around the diner. Some disapproving, some jealous and some just plain sickening, especially the looks she was getting from a table of teenaged boys. Pigs.   
Trying to distract her self, Kouya unconsciously started opening and closing the lid on her new cell phone. She mechanically ran her thin fingers over the engraved initials of her lover. Her finger followed the turns and dents of the kanji that represented her beloved’s name.

Over the rest of the night I continue asking her what was wrong. My best guess was going to be that creepy red head she used to hang with. But I talked sense into her and no way was she going to come back, so what had made my Angel cry?!

My mother was a sweet gentle hearted woman, through out my childhood I’ve never once saw her get mad or cry, though I don’t really remember my mother truthfully smiling either. Her face was always, neutral in a sense.  
 
Her health was quite bad, especially after giving birth to my little sister, Angel. She frequently fell ill and on the day of my sister’s fifth birthday my mother quietly past away. Father said she was never really there with him from the start. In actuality I never truly understood what he meant, I was only ten years old when the grim day came.

Toph practically ran all the way towards the lagoon, all she had to focus on was the heavy pounding that resonating from the waterfalls. The smell of cooking food welcomed her and just as Sokka had said Katara was in the middle of the lake practicing her water bending. Katara had water bended the area of solid ground beneath her, allowing her to practice holding the water back and give her a firmer footing.   
A fire was blaring at the shore of the lake; next to the flames were a pair of carps. The scent of the fish made Toph’s mouth water; not eating a whole day could do that Contentment Chapter 7

“Katara?” Toph tried to snuggle closer to her own personal human pillow, only to be awaken with a rather laugh screech. “Momo, what you doing here?!”   
Toph frowned at Momo, and held tightly to the flying lemur but made sure to keep the crazy creature at arms length. Momo frowned right back at Toph for squeezing him in her sleep and began waving his arms wildly around, as hard as he tried; he could no get out of Toph’s grip.

Just as she was about to close the door of her rock tent she heard Katara’s regulated breathing quicken. …Katara was crying in her sleep? Who the HELL can possibly have made HER sugar queen cry. Whoever ever it was there was going to be hell to pay. While Toph ponder over their normal enemies then to a distinct memory of a particular pretty boy named Jet Li, she heard Katara murmur someone’s name…

 Toph tilted her head up to ‘look’ at the skies, locking her fingers together to hold the back of her neck. The girls had been following the stream for only two minutes, but the tension was already building. Toph desperately wanted to forget all about Katara, if you don’t love her, she can’t hurt you. While all Katara wanted was for Toph to answer her question with more then just simple one-word replies.

 Things were...awkward around camp. In the following weeks to come Katara felt more and more in love with Toph. However grumpy the blind bandit got only made Katara more patient and caring, thus tearing at Toph’s heart even more.   
While Katara tried again and again to profess her increasing love to Toph, Toph took it as her sole duty in life to avoid ever being caught alive with Katara anywhere near her.  
 
“Hey Aang, have you notice that Toph no longer sleeps near camp?” Sokka asked.

This had become a common thing for the pair; Lyn would awaken every couple of hours and call out as if she was in pain. Florina didn’t know what to do with her beloved Lyndis. Whenever Lyn really woke up, all Florina could do was offer her water and food, but each time Lyn would refuse her and fall back to sleep.
