It was scary how familiar this scene was. Although a few things were vastly different from before, it was basically the same.
Sonic and Kirby were dueling it out below them, having been brought to life from their trophy-state only a few minutes prior. Every now and then, Zelda would look up and expect to see the ominous silhouette of the Halberd, followed by a blanket of red clouds. She would expect to see the Ancient Minister and his deadly Sub-Space Bomb, or perhaps Wario to attack Peach and take her away again. But no, Wario wasn’t going to hurt them again…. right? Marth surpressed the urge to run away as Samus turned burning, navy blue eyes onto his form. The blue-haired man felt a cat-like grin cross his lips.
"Oh yeah. You're mad."
With a grace perfected by years of constant practice, Marth ducked the volley of laser bullets. Sitting up straight, he paid no heed to the several smoking holes behind his head. Instead he merely reached out and patted the blonde bounty-hunter's shoulder sympathetically, making sure to snatch back his appendage before Samus could attempt to bite it. Again.
"Shut the hell up Martha" Samus growled,
