Be My Valentine

Kim always did seem to have the worst luck with love. Here she was on St. Valentine’s day sitting in her room, eating chips, alone. All her friends were out with SOMEONE. Monique and was being asked out at every turn, Ron was out with Yori, even Kim’s dorky cousin had a date to go out with.

“Maybe there can be a mission so I don’t have to wallow in self-pity all night.” Kim mumbles into her Pandaroo’s ears.

Kim looked at Pandaroo expectantly, looking deep into the awkwardly little animal’s small beady eyes. What was she going to do? Kim picked up her Kimmuicator decided to find Wade.

In big flashy letters her Kimmunicator’s screen displayed an interesting message.

‘On a Date with Justine.’

With a groan Kim buried her face into the closet pillow. Karma was some joke, she saved the world, she was a good person, heck she was once a pixie scout!!! Was she asking too much just to have SOMEONE on Valentines Day?!

Kim dialled a call to Doctor Director. The most powerful women of the century couldn’t possibly tell Kim the world was perfectly safe on Valentine’s Day. There HAD to be some kind of crime, if the world wasn’t safe on Christ’s birth the there was no way Valentine’s Day could be out of harm's way.

When the call finally connected Kim was pleasantly surprised with not the Director’s voice, but…Vivian’s?!

“Hello,” the voice said with a light giggle. “Betty isn’t in any position to answer the phone right now, can I take a message?”

“How many times did I tell you NOT to answer my personal cell phone?!?”

Kim twitched when she heard phone’s sharp thud on the floor. She could make out nothing too serious was happening on the other end of the phone, since Vivian still had the nerves to laugh even when she had only a minute ago been commanded rather harshly from the Director.

Sighing once again Kim hung up and settled on having a more civil conversation with her beloved Pandaroo. Had Kim really resorted back to only having her little stuff animal’s love?

“Thirty minutes to midnight.” She sigh into her pillow.

Kim had finally accepted her fate to be a loner on Valentine’s Day… Until a quiet knock could be heard at her bedroom window.

Practically tripping over herself Kim jumped off her bed and dashed to her window. Only to slip on laundry on the way and land elegantly face flat on her carpeted floor.

“I thought princesses were supposed to be graceful.”

“Shego, you’re here!” Kim’s face lit up into a smile and ran to hug Shego.

Maybe Valentine’s Day didn’t suck THAT much.

“Sorry Pumpkin, I didn’t have time to get you roses.”

Squeezing harder on her lover Kim only shook her head, “You are here and that's what matters, I’m not much of a romantic anyways.”

Both of the girls laugh when Kim said this. Kimberly was a well known romantic fanatic. If Kim had a say in the world’s calendar, there would be a Valentine’s Day every other month.

“Well if that's the way you like things I guess you don’t need to see your gift.” Shego said in a playful tone.

Kim lifted her head from Shego’s shoulder and looked up at her villainess’s face sceptically. “Really?”

Shego nodded and pointed out the window. Kim almost lost her breath when she looked out into the night sky. The sky was perfectly cloudless, creating natural pure black canvas. A canvas which had ‘Be my Valentine Kimmy .From S’ written in it with bright neon green.

“Oh…”

Shego who was had been laying comfortably on the bed shot up and glared at Kim, “I fly in record time from China to here, then use plasma to write a love message and all I get is an ‘OH’?!?!”

Shego was pleasantly surprise when she found all 110 pounds of Kim flying towards her at top speed.

“Omph!”

“Thank you Cecelia,” Kim murmured happily as she nuzzled against her girlfriend’s neck.

“Don’t call me THAT!” Shego shrieked with horror.

Shego was going to reprimand her little princess calling her by first name. But Kim’s frisky little kisses and hugs had become a little too… bold for anyone to focus.

I guess there is such a thing known as karma, at least in Middleton.
